This week, Dancing with the Stars voters got it right. Or at  least we did.
If the goal were truly to rid the show of its  worst performer, Kate Gosselin would have been gone last night ... and  likely the previous two elimination rounds, too.
But Dancing  with the Stars is as much a popularity contest as a  competition, and All My Children star Aiden Turner lacked it,  as well as talent. Not a good combo.
Still, host Tom Bergeron  tried to tease us at the onset: "A favorite might be going home  tonight." THG might get an exclusive sit-down with Brangelina today,  too.
Despite her alleged breakthrough, Kate  Gosselin was in the bottom three with Turner and Niecy Nash - the  three poorest performers Monday, to voters' credit.
From that  point on, you knew the fix  was in for Kate Turner was toast.
Unfortunately, Edyta Sliwinska was  eliminated last night.
Monday evening "was the first  time I had total and complete fun and I'm addicted and I'm totally going  to cry if it's over," Kate told co-host Brooke Burke Tuesday.
She  was deemed safe before Aiden and Niecy, though, so she'll be back next  week for "movie night," whatever that means. Turner's take on being  exiled?
"Each week I came out here to give it my all," he said,  smiling. That's all you can do. Bow down to the dancing goddess that is  Kate Gosselin and move on.
